Constructive journalism wants to improve our media. Which is urgently necessary because traditional news with a highlight on crisis and catastrophe often cause the audience to feel overwhelmed and helpless. The constructive approach goes deeper than just reporting what´s going wrong and it works with three core principles:

🔍 Focus on solutions
🗣️ Diversity of perspectives
🫱🏼‍🫲🏿 Constructive dialogue

This strategy aims to make journalism more future oriented and hopefully leave the audience feeling inspired, encouraged and informed.

Do you have any ideas on how journalism could improve?
