I had hoped to make calls asking people to Vote Chris Tuck for mayor. Regrettably I've been ill and unable to do so. Hopefully I'll be capable of that soon. Chris makes compromises in government such that no side gets everything but all sides set something and Government will function. He is honest and has a track record actually trying to do what he says he will. When he was in the Legislature that ment working with 61 other people to keep his promises. 40 House Reps, 20 Senators and 1 governor. Meaning he couldn't always accomplish what he promised but he did work harder than Most other politicians. Chris will make the best Mayor because of his honesty and ability to work with other. 3 more years of Mayor Bronson would mean 3 more years of nothing getting done becuse he and the Assembly hate any idea the other has... even if they previously had the same idea. LaFrance is part of the problem having tried to usurp the executive branch and spend far to much money. If elected I predict Anchorage will not only keep property tax at the amount alowed in the Muni Charter but also add a sales tax within 2 years. With the exception of the year I re financed my mortgage my house payment has gone up every year. Not because of some stupid variable rate mortgage but because property tax keeps going up. My income is down but the Muni Assembly including Canidate LaFrance think all home and property owners are rich because they act like we have more money than we need so they (the Assembly) should take more of it, after all they can spend it better anyway.

I, Michael Jesperson was the host of the show when it aired on 1080 AM KOAN in 2020. I am currently talking with 700 KBYR to get another show. The new show would be longer, while it would cover more topics there will be time allotted each week devoted to helping Parents, Students and Teachers at all levels.

The Parent Teacher Show won an award from the Alaska Broadcasters Association in 2020. When I get another show, I intend to maintain or improve the quality of the programing while still maintaining a community service focus.

Any help those of you who liked the show in the past can offer in getting this show re started will be appreciated.

The Parent Teacher Show continues to get new "likes" despite having been off air for nearly 11 months.

I would like to re start the program but the station it was on has be sold and converted to a Hispanic Christian Station.

If any of you that like this program can offer suggestions and or help me get another station to pick up the show I would be Gratefull.
It could be daily, weekly, or even a weekend show.

The original show had primarily ASD guests, currently I have private scools, UA, Oprentiship programs a couple of school districts and some additional post High School education institutions that would like to be on the show.

I appreciate all of you who "like" the Parent Teacher Show". The Station I used to do this show on (1080 KOAN) has been sold and is now a Hispanic Christian channel.
I would love to do the Parent Teacher Show, or something similar again. Regrettably I can not get other stations to even let me in to make a proposal.

If you woul like to listen to the Parent Teacher Show Again, please tell other stations including KENI, KFQD, and KBYR they would well to pick up Michael Jesperson and "The Parent Teacher Show"

I also used to do "The Small Business Show" additionally know as "Small Business 911" on weekends. That show was designed to help small businesses stay alive during the pandemic.

The Parent Teacher Show is currently Off Air. Since the station that carried the show (KOAN) was sold I have been unable to get another station to pick it up.
I believe the show still has value despite ASD Students beginning a phased return to school this week. If another station will pick up the show, we could do the old format you are used to or devote 1 day each week to specific subject matter and or for a range of school grades. This would give parents knowledge and resources to help their children, be they in a physical or virtual classroom.
