It is with a heavy heart that I post this.
I have loved hosting Blind Crime and sharing cases with you all. It has given me an outlet to focus on and have fun with, while sharing stories of people whose lives were cut short and honoring their memories. The cases I've shared have been difficult, unsettling, but ultimately, stories of lives that should never be forgotten.
With that being said, Blind Crime is coming to an end. I've been honest about my health and my mental health and while I'm doing better, the content of true crime has gotten too heavy for me. I can't go about it like I once could and even a cult case or something less graphic is hard for me to talk about. My intake of true crime content is nonexistent now because it's just too much for my mind to grasp. It takes a very special person to do this full time, or even part time, and I am no longer a person who can do it.
I want to thank every single person who has listened over the last few years. Thank you for your support, kindness, and understanding through all of my ups and downs. I will always cherish the experience, the friends I've made along the way, and the platform it gave me to share stories like those of Janson Brewer, Georgia Williams, Sylvia Likens, and help break down the walls of places like The Ramp and cults like The Ant Hill Kids.
The podcast will still be available to listen to on all platforms. There just won't be any new episodes from here on out.
Thank you again, from the bottom of my heart. ♡
Tess Heard, Blind Crime.
