On-page SEO involves optimizing individual web pages to rank higher on search engines. It focuses on both the content and the HTML source code of a page.
Keyword Optimization: Integrating relevant keywords that users are likely to search for. This includes:
Primary Keywords: The main search term you’re targeting.
Secondary Keywords: Related terms or synonyms that enhance the content’s relevance.
Long-Tail Keywords: More specific keyword phrases, usually containing three or more words, that have less competition but are more targeted.
Title Tags: The title of your web page that appears in search engine results. It should be descriptive, include the primary keyword, and be no more than 60 characters long.
Meta Descriptions: A brief summary (around 150–160 characters) of the page content that appears in SERPs. It should be compelling and include the main keyword.
Headings (H1, H2, H3): Structured headings help search engines understand the hierarchy of the content. Use H1 for the main title, and subheadings like H2 or H3 for organizing sections.
Content Quality: High-quality, original, and valuable content is crucial. It should:
Address the user’s intent (informational, navigational, or transactional).
Be engaging and easy to read (clear structure, bullet points, etc.).
Contain at least 1,000–1,500 words for in-depth topics, although quality matters more than length.
Include relevant images, videos, infographics, and links to provide additional value.
Internal Linking: Linking to other pages within your site helps users navigate and encourages search engines to index more of your pages.
