Nottingham has been chosen from a shortlist of ten worldwide cities, including the Brazilian city and San Francisco, to land its own customised board as part of the game's 90th birthday celebrations this year.

What a way to bounce back after last week's loss. And Man City lost today giving Forest a little breathing space in the race for a European slot. Keep it going lads. One request though, can the buses sort themselves out when Forest are playing?

Have you done everything you can to deter the thieves?

You may have seen or heard recently that there have been several incidents of vehicle theft in Rushcliffe North area. Please be assured police are investigating the occurrences.

Sergeant Sands of the West Bridgford Neighbourhood Policing Team says,

“For the time being residents should consider the following safety advice.
Use a Faraday Pouch, keeping your car keys in this can prevent thieves from amplifying the signal.
Steering wheel locks, these maybe something of old however it is another barrier for the thieves to get through and acts as a visible deterrent.
Park in a garage, it isn’t common nowadays to use our garages for anything other than storage however putting your car in there makes it less accessible.“

The Sergeant also recommends,

“Extra security, should you be a victim of this crime these security measures could assist the investigation.
Utilise a tracking device, while this isn’t preventative it will assist police recovering your vehicle as early as possible and may assist with the apprehension of suspects.
Installing CCTV which is out of reach from criminals.
Ring doorbell, these are common place and upload in to the cloud.
Security lights, ensure these do not interfere with the quality of the CCTV recording.”
