I discovered through his appearances on and from then I became borderline obsessed with his music. When announced he was the opener for , I don’t think understood how excited I was about it.

John did not disappoint. What a spectacular singer and guitarist - but above all, what a truly gifted storyteller. This was the first time I was able to catch him live but it absolutely will not be the last.

Sometimes everything comes together to pick up a piece of gear that has been a dream for almost longer than you can remember. I’ve wanted a black panel Vibrolux Reverb basically ever since I picked up the guitar and today it became a reality. It’s a 67, all original (except some cap maintenance), and it is everything I ever wanted the perfect VR to be.

An awful lot of pieces had to come together to bring this amp into my life and I literally couldn’t be happier.
