Ngày Đức Phật thành đạo | The Buddha’s enlightenment day.Ngài đi đến một gốc cây để tọa thiền.

Và thời khắc trọng đại cũng đang sắp tới gần.

Ngay lúc ấy, Ma Vương liền xuất hiện để mong phá hủy đạo hạnh của thái tử.

Trước tiên, Ma Vương đưa con gái của mình để mê hoặc thái tử :”Tất Đạt Đa, hãy nhìn các con gái của ta, sao cũng được, ôm lấy chúng, chúng sẽ tùy ngài xử lý”.

Tiếp theo, Ma Vương lại dùng tiền tài và quyền lực dụ dỗ để hòng khiến thái tử Tất Đạt Đa sa đọa” Tất Đạt Đa, ta cho ngài tất cả tài bảo trên cõi đời này, cho ngài địa vị và quyền lực để chi phối thế gian, điều kiện duy nhất là ngài phải nghe theo lệnh của ta.”

Tiếp đến, Ma Vương lại muốn dùng bạo lực để uy hiếp thái tử: “Tất Đạt Đa, ngài muốn cố chấp đến khi nào đây? Nếu cố chấp nữa, thì ngài sẽ mất mạng đó. Hãy tỉnh ngộ đi”.

“Này Ma Vương, hãy yên vị. Ta đã vượt ra khỏi vòng sanh tử, những vũ khí của các ông dùng đều ko thể tổn hại đến ta được.”

“Này Ma Vương, hãy biến mất đi”. “Lucifer, dissapear!”
Và trận chiến đã kết thúc. “And the battle is over”.
Sự xuất hiện của Ma Vương và bè lũ chính là sự phiền não còn sót lại xuất phát từ nội tâm của thái tử. Sau khi thái tử dẹp xong giặc phiền não, vào lúc nửa đêm nhân ngài trông thấy vì sao Mai ở phương Đông và Hoát Nhiên Đại Ngộ. Đây chính là ngày thành đạo của Đức Phật, lúc ấy Buda Tất Đạt Đa được 35 tuổi.

Sau đó, ngài được gọi là Phật, nghĩa là Bậc Giác Ngộ, Phật Hiệu Thích Ca Mâu Ni. Thích Ca là tên của dòng tộc ngài, có nghĩa là năng nhân, là bậc thánh từ dòng tộc Thích Ca. Mâu Ni là hiệu của ngài, có nghĩa là tịch mạc, chúng ta thường tôn xưng là Thế Tôn, tức là bậc tôn quý của thế gian và xuất thế gian.
Then, he is called The Buddha, means The Enlightenment One, Buddha’s name is Shakyamuni. Shakyamuni is his family name, means a potential person – a saint from the Shakyamuni. We often call him the World-Honored One, that means the noble one of the world.
Khi vừa mới thành đạo, Đức Phật vẫn ở dưới cội cây bồ đề tĩnh tọa và nhập thiền định.
When having just attained enlightenment, the Buddha still sat statically and remained meditation under the Bodhi tree.
“Những sự phiền não xưa kia khiến ta đau khổ bây giờ đã tan biến và ko lưu lại vết tích gì, đây thật là một niềm hỉ lạc tối vi diệu, dù có mất đi ta cũng ko hối tiếc nhưng chỉ thương xót cho các chúng sinh”.
“The previous afflictions that made me suffering in the past is now disappeared with no traces. This is truly a wonderful joy that I will not regret even though losing it. But I have mercy for all sentient beings.”
