Victims of silent atrocities, unfortunately whose culprits will never be held guilty...
Oxygen shortage, deaths, mass cremations, floating dead bodies, inefficient system are new normal after thali, diya, ghanti and reminders that "sarkar bhi kya kr skti h"..after all Indians have a knack of adapting in any circumstances. Govt. is still in the same position as it was a year ago..still unaffected towards Covid and in denial.
When India’s daily production capacity of medical oxygen is 7,287 MT and there is an availability of a buffer stock of approximately 50,000 MT, still people are dying of oxygen shortage due to the paralytic approach of chosen govt. , every sort of mela, yatra, raily were conducted except filling the gaps in our healthcare system, vaccination drives are being delayed due to shortage of vaccines, when online website shows availability of hospital beds, still people are struggling. And this is all after a year of pandemic..still unprepared and inefficient.

To maintain the law and order in Uttar Pradesh...
1. A special security force will be constituted, which will have the powers to search without any warrant.
2. Members of this force can arrest any person without the orders of a magistrate or a warrant.
3. The court will not take cognisance against officers and other employees of SSF without the permission of the government.
4. The force will be deployed for the security of strategic and vital installations, high court, district court, state government administrative premises, religious spots, Metro Rail, airports, banks, industrial undertakings and any other establishment notified by the state government.
5. Private firms can also hire services.
6. An officer of the additional director general (ADG)-level will head the force.

Now only time can tell whether it will maintain the law and order or worsen the situation.🙏🙏

Sri Lankan government which owes $55billion debt; approcimately 80% of its GDP, once again turned to China for help with the debt repayment. And China has approved an additional loan of $500bn from its development bank. It has so far made 3 requests to India regarding its debt moratorium and currency swap facility. And under SAARC facility of currency swap agreement, India gave Srilanka $400mn currency in April this year. It also requested India for the postponement of its debt repayment, which has been under consideration for the last 4 months. Besides, Pakistan PM Imran Khan spoke to President Rajapaksa for joining a "Global Initiative on Debt Relief" to counter economic impacts of Covid-19. With Srilanka's rising debt, it has to cope with the Covid-19 impacts also. Due to the pandemic, labour remittances have fallen, exports and tourism sector (which is its third largest source of foreign exchange) are badly hit.

India inaugurated a new road on May 8 connecting the Lipulekh pass in Uttarakhand with the Kailash Mansarovar route in China for the pilgrims visiting to Kailash Mansarovar in Tibet. Earlier, 20 per cent of land journeys was on Indian roads and 80 per cent in China … the ratio has been reversed. Now pilgrims to Mansarovar will traverse 84 per cent land journeys on Indian roads and only 16 per cent in China.
But recently the Nepal cabinet has incorporated in its new political map the areas of Limpiyadhura, Lipulekh and Kalapani which are part of the Indian territory.
"Those who are coming from India through illegal channels are spreading the virus in the country and some local representatives and party leaders are responsible for bringing in people from India without proper testing.
It has become very difficult to contain COVID-19 due to the flow of people from outside. Indian virus looks more lethal than Chinese and Italian now. More are getting infected", said Nepal PM.

Nepal's objection then was the inclusion of Kalapani in the map, in which it is shown as part of Uttarakhand. The area falls in the trijunction between India, China and Nepal.
