London, September 30, 2025 – Just one day into Big Brother’s highly anticipated return on ITV2, housemate Sam has already captured attention with a double life that’s equal parts small-town charm and showbiz sparkle.

The 27-year-old from Skipton is known locally for his energetic Zumba classes, where his playlists get everyone moving. But inside the house, he revealed another side: his music persona “Smashby,” an emerging pop act blending glittery hooks with heartfelt lyrics. Fans quickly took notice online, with trending after his reveal.

Sam’s upbeat personality has already made him a house favourite. From morning yoga sessions to emotional late-night chats, he’s showing that he can be both the entertainer and the confidant. Even early tensions in the house haven’t stopped him from building quick friendships.

Outside of Big Brother, Sam has released self-produced music on YouTube and performed at community events, even connecting with other reality TV names along the way. With his background in dance, fitness, and music, he’s proving to be one of the most versatile contestants of the season.

If he goes all the way to the £100,000 prize, Sam dreams of a new place to call home – and a chance to take his pop career to the next level. But first, he’ll need to navigate the twists and turns of the game.

Big Brother continues nightly on ITV2, with streaming available on ITVX. Could Sam’s mix of Zumba moves and pop power make him one of this year’s breakout stars?

Wow! Shipley saw one of its most iconic moments last Friday and Saturday thanks to the magnificent production of 'Bloom' by Upswing Aerial, Bradford 2025, and all the amazing folks that worked on this project. (including 6 local choirs)

Our video may not be the best, but we just had to capture and show you this emotional moment of pure awe when Heather Lowe performed 'Wings' at the top of Shipley's famous brutalist architecture style clock tower. (That was opened by Bruce Forsyth in 1961 - random fact!).

This has been one of our many highlights of Bradford 2025, and something we'll never forget ❤️

Sorry to hear this ❤️

We are announcing the closure of Studio 48 and the groove pad it has been a tough year from the events at the opening night we had realised it was going to be a tough ride but we tried to battle on but after a boycotting of the venue the final straw came when we battled against our utility company Yorkshire Gas and Power who have all the power literally as they showed earlier this month. Today we gave up the fight hopefully people will see what Shipley has lost in such a good venue closing and please before you comment think of the staff that have lost there jobs. To the acts and parties booked in we are sorry and Thank you to all the people and bands that supported us and tried to help us and a final note the hospitality industry is closing so keep your venues open and support them where you can from the team at Studio 48 goodnight and farewell.
