Stop saying “easier said than done” — it’s messing with your confidence & blocking your manifestation.
I hear this most often as a default response when someone is invited to embrace a higher level of personal accountability.
But it’s highly damaging programming.
Think about it:
What exactly in the world is NOT easier said than done?
Like literally: what is something that is way more difficult to talk about than to actually do?
I haven’t been able to come up with an answer to that question, which leads me to conclude that the phrase “easier said than done” is not only obsolete but worse than useless—and completely unhelpful to anyone trying to do anything about anything.
I think James Clear said it best:
“Strangely, life gets harder when you try to make it easy. Exercising might be hard, but never moving makes life harder.
Uncomfortable conversations are hard, but avoiding every conflict is harder. Mastering your craft is hard, but having no skills is harder. Easy has a cost.”
If we want to get better and do better, we need to raise our standards for what we allow ourselves to consume.
And if we feed our mind with “easier said than done,” guess what our subconscious begins believing as a RULE for reality?
It’s a self-fulfilling prophecy that creates a scarcity loop. It’s like conditioning your mind for hardship... even before you set out to do the thing! 🫠
Gentle reminder: Change is inevitable and requires nothing from you. Progress, however, will always require a decision.
With love,
