Do You Recognize This Abandoned Newborn Baby Girl?

Do you know me? On March 20, 1998, someone abandoned me in the unit block of Rhode Island Avenue in Washington, D.C.

Someone placed me in the narrow space between a family's storm door and the inner-door that opens into their house. The nice ladies called 911, and the police arrived around 5:00 p.m.

The doctors examined me and said I was 5 days old and weighed 5 1/2 pounds. The police said I was "crying but consolable."

Some placental fluid was found in my hair, and some blood was found on my blanket, making authorities believe I was not born in a hospital.

I was wearing a white one-piece sleeper with Dalmatians, and colorful construction machinery on it with a hand-knitted light purple sweater and bonnet. I was wrapped in a knitted white blanket with a pink-orangish border.

I was taken to Children's Hospital and transferred to St. Anne's Infant and Maternity Home in Hyattsville.

No one came to claim me, and no one knows who my mother and father are.

Do you know my parents or any of my family? Do you know who I am?
If you have any information about my true identity, please contact 202-576-6768 or 202-576-6771.

The jury has found Megan Boswell guilty of murdering her daughter, Evelyn Boswell.

THE MEGAN BOSWELL MURDER CASE IS NOW IN THE HANDS OF THE JURY.
The prosecution and defense both rested and gave their closing arguments this afternoon.
The sequestered jury deliberated about three hours before breaking for the night and returning to their hotel.
They will be back first thing tomorrow.
Boswell, now 23, is charged with felony murder in the death of her 15-month-old daughter, Evelyn in Sullivan County, TN five years ago.
Her attorneys have told the jury there is no proof that she intentionally killed her child.
Prosecutors say Boswell is guilty of first-degree murder.
My take?
The jury WILL find Boswell guilty of something.
I’d be stunned if she is acquitted.
But any verdict less than 1st or 2nd degree murder for Boswell will be a victory for her.
The defense argued Boswell did not commit premeditated murder — and hinted that the death was an accident she tried to conceal out of fear.
Medical examiners say the child died of asphyxiation.
If the jury decides Boswell did not intentionally kill Evelyn then no 1st Degree Murder.
Instead she could be found guilty of lying to police, child neglect and/or improper disposal of the body.
A conviction on those charges would bring far less prison time than 1st Degree Murder — which would bring a life sentence.
So, yes … Ihave no doubt Boswell will be convicted of something.
It comes down to this: Will the jury decide she intentionally killed her young daughter?
Again, the jury will be back to deliberate Thursday after seven days of trial.
Trust me.
They are ready to go home.
A verdict will come down tomorrow.
WHAT DO YOU THINK?
