Y’all need a DJ who got into DJing because of Trip Hop / Jazz Rap? I’m your gal ✨

I was spinning The Herbaliser the other night at The Advice Booth and this lady asked me what it was and where she could find more of it, I laughed and said “the 90s”.

I told her I’d make her a trip hop playlist if she messaged me, she demurred saying she didn’t really like hip hop but liked what I was playing.

I clearly need to spread the good word to lands beyond

Not being at Burning Man this year was a lesson in humbleness and patience, and I sat with a ton of uncomfortable and, l*z be honest, deeply sad feelings. I cried more than I’d like to admit during build week. The playa is my happy place; it’s the place I go to ground myself, it’s the place I go to reconnect, it’s the place I go to work. I’ve been a Greeter lead for over 10 years and I camp with a high intensity camp that requires a lot of its campers, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love giving a piece of myself to the playa.

Watching everyone’s recap videos has been lovely. I’m usually a “put your phone away” type, but it has been nice to see the art, and my friends, and the sunsets, and the silly ness.

I’ve already promised myself that I’ll be back next year and I know I’ll make it happen.

I have always wanted to be a fashion show DJ and while I’ve spun for PFI in the past, this is the BIG ONE!

I’ll be at the Art Museum cueing tracks for the runway shows, setting the vibe for the evening, and presiding over the dance floor finale 🖤
