Thank you so much to everyone who watched and supported and helped make our inaugural season a successful one! Our team at the Ohio Bocce League and our partners at the Chicago Bocce League are committed to showcasing our beautiful sport on the stage that it deserves. These inaugural seasons in Ohio and Chicago are just the first steps toward building that stage, that will one day span the country and beyond.

The best part about this movement for the future of our sport is that it’s a home-grown effort, built on the backs of hard work, dedication, and an incredible amount of support from our beloved bocce community. We, the community, do the work. We, the community, reap the benefits. Thank you all for being a part of our first season and here’s to 100 more! Cent’anni!

What an incredible finish to an incredible Season 1! Congratulations to the Wickliffe Barbarians for dominating the league from start to finish, capturing the Inaugural Championship Series 3 games to 1 in the best of 5 series. Congratulations also to the Youngstown Flash Bocce, whose Cinderella run fell just short. After losing their first 4 matches and placing last in the regular season, Youngstown fought their way through the first two rounds of playoffs and even won the first game of the Championship Series. In the end, they proved to be no match for the Barbarians, who will be bringing the OBL Trophy back to Wickliffe.

Thank you to all of the fans, volunteers, players, and the entire community for making this Inaugural Season a resounding success!

This off-season will be an active one. We are now looking forward to the All Star Game, roster moves, opportunities for fan voting and interaction, and more! And of course, in January we turn our eyes and ears to our brothers and sisters in the Chicago Bocce League.

This is just the beginning. The future of bocce is bright in North America and all across the globe. Thank you for being a part of it!
