Spent the morning exploring Batu Caves in Kuala Lumpur and it was so beautiful! It’s a must visit if you’re traveling to Malaysia. Details below about the caves 🕉️

•The temple is dedicated to Lord Murugan, the god of War. The caves are rumored to be around 400 million years old while the stairs were built in 1920 and the statue in 2016.

• Make sure you cover your shoulders and knees as this is a Hindu Temple. If going inside the temples to pray, you will need to take off your shoes before entering. Offerings are encouraged and being respectful of the people praying is important!

• The best time to visit is early morning or late night as it’s not too busy! Bring your cameras and tripods to get beautiful photos on the rainbow stairs 🌈
