Well I bring some sad news I’m afraid... today’s episode has had to be pushed back due to my kids spilling water on my Mac!! Who knows how long it’ll take to fix 😭. Today’s episode was scheduled to be one full of foodie tips and Covid experience in Sicily.

It was also going to be the last of this season. With the current travel situation being how it is with hardly anyone travelling right now I’ve decided to take a break and concentrate on my other exploits until we can travel again.

Until then you can listen to amazing adventures to faraway shores still with all the episodes staying in the ether to listen to whenever you like.

"Another flight, another country, another continent. We have arrived in Phuket Thailand! Our hostel is only a short walk from the spectacular airport beach, low planes and all. Watching people scramble away down the bank trying to shelter from the blowback of a plane taking off was funny to watch. °⠀

Top tip! - if you're thinking of flying to Thailand from Australia with air Asia, don't do it. Or if you have to just pay the extra for 1st class. A 9 hour flight with no legroom, a really uncomfortable seat, no entertainment, two small bottles of water and one very small meal. We've been on buses in much poorer countries over short distances with more comfort and better service. Worst flight"⠀⠀⠀

“It felt like being in North Korea.... it was like something out of a post apocalyptic zombie film!”
Josh and Annie had to make the tough decision- do they carry on travelling or do they grab the next flight out of their and come home? Covid-19 was taking hold and their wasn’t time to think.

All paths lead to travel. I sometimes wonder when travel will be back to what we know and love- like so much at the moment. But one thing I’ve learned during this time is that travel can be closer to home if we let it!... have you been on a “staycation” this year? ⠀⠀
Shame this isn’t closer to home! I remember visiting these icy blue waters and it being just the most amazing view! 💦 ⠀

"The water really was that colour! ❤️🌊 First stop and our picnic lunch spot with a pretty impressive view! 220,000 litres (approx) of water flows through every second 😲. No way would you want to get too close to this, I don't envy the people in the jet boat! "⠀
