"My father, Emeka Ike told me that with the kind of voice I have, I should go and jump infront of a Truck. He told me to jump from where I am and fall and smãsh my head so his ears and life can have peace. My father always sends me a 10-minutes voice-note every morning reminding me that I am will always be a faîled artiste. Sometimes he says things like: 'Michael, that your music will never prosper. I'll see you on the side of the road and pour spit on, Don Jazzy will never see you.'
He even sent like 8 of those voice-notes to my mother. I am ashamed to call Emeka Ike my father. I don't know what I'll do when I find a wife because I don't know how I can present my wife to such a man and not get insulted. I don't want anything from my father again. He has faîled me in so many ways as a father. I'm dēåd to him. I know what most people will say but my mum didn't turn me against my dad, I really just hãte him." ~ Sean Michael Ike
