I have to say, the last few years, I have been fishing the SaltX line exclusively and I have been impressed. There were some hiccups with the gen 1 SaltX reel but with some tlc, it is still catching fish 4 years later. The rods are the best at price point and the SaltX 2nd gen line stands out.

I had more holes in my hands than fish landed, and I landed a fish just about every other cast for 4 hours. My heart pumping with adrenaline or my wet hands made them bleed for hours. My rod and reel were sticky. My pliers and grips looked like halloween props. My talking popper was to blame. Thank you for always having the hookup.
