Restless Planet is the passion project of Bunny Ross, Interwave Surfer, and Mas. We are a local label with scalability at our core.

Founded by Bunny Ross, Interwave Surfer, and Sojourn, Restless Planet sources and promotes captivating local and international music, connecting the PNW underground with global dance hubs through quality releases and vibrant parties. Our label is based in Seattle and intends to release music from our local community for consumers in and beyond the Pacific NorthWest. We intend to support our local

community through collaborations, high-quality releases from within our community, and creative events. RPR is a platform for our community and our individual and collective productions. At our core, we intend to create and promote high-quality dance(able) music that is memorable, non-formulaic, creative, and unexpected. As a label, we embrace the playful, tastefully quirky, and irreverent. We are serious about the music we create and releases being creative and meaningful. Beyond our music, we aim to foster community and provide memorable, engaging experiences for our artists, fans, and friends of the label. We want attendees of our events to leave feeling they’ve gone to another place and back, even if just for a small time. We are a support network for the founding members of LRR and our community, and our ambitions are driven by an honest desire to build a label from the heart, be inclusive, non-commercial, quality-driven, forward-thinking, and looked at by our consumers as the go-to label for unpredictable, compelling music.

Restless Planet x Synergy ~ Rooftop Session

Restless Planet joins forces with Synergy for the next rooftop session over Elliott Bay. Last time we welcomed the inaugural crew and one of our lead UV1 artists to the stage and had a fantastic showing.

Now, we’ve got another amazing lineup of artists ready to curate an evening shaped by warm wax, soft skies, and the latest underground sounds. We’re honored to feature Sherman, a huge supporter of Restless Planet and true purveyor of the underground, and Synergy, an all-vinyl underground crew - both are doers and shakers and folks we’ve wanted to book for a long time.

Rounding it out are some of Seattle’s best underground selectors Soraya and Carranzaa, and label crewmates Deepika and Jono.

Restless Planet × House Cleaning Records

For the past four years, Restless Planet has teamed up with HCR to bring memorable nights to tucked-away corners of the city. Each one shaped with care, a balance of driving house music, loose and quirky energy, and the kind of flow that makes a night feel like it’s just meant to happen. This one’s no different.

This time around, we’re thrilled to welcome David Gtronic, an artist whose sound moves with hypnotic weight. His releases on Personality Disorder Music, Vatos Locos, Brouqade, Rockets Audio, and Moss Co are dialed in for deep systems and late-night dancers. He’s collaborated with artists like Cristina Lazic (Lilith), Guti, Reboot, San Proper, Tom Trago, Alexis Cabrera, and Seth Troxler, building a body of work that’s raw, refined, and endlessly playable.

The local lineup is heavy and fun-paced throughout. We'll share more on that soon.

Restless Planet x House Cleaning Records

Saturday, July 19 – Seattle

We’re excited to come together for a midsummer night of groove-driven sound and good people.

This time we welcome Berlin-based David Gtronic, whose hypnotic sets blend subtle textures with immersive minimalism.

Tony H is on direct support. He’s the head of Late Night Munchies and a longtime Seattle community builder with a deep collection of creative, quirky, and banging music.

Opening the night is Spindola, one of our favorite newer voices in the mix. Thoughtful, driving, and tuned for the introspective hours. Expect curious selections and deep cuts to set the tone just right.

This also marks four years since our first RP x HCR link-up. Since then, it’s been about sharing tunes, building with the community, and keeping things close. You’ll hear some of us on the decks too, playing what we’ve been working on and what’s been moving us lately.

Thanks to everyone who joined us for the Ultra Violets 1 release weekend.

The rooms filled with familiar faces, warm energy, and a sense of shared momentum. It felt good to gather with our community and hear the UV1 tracks come to life from close friends and new guests alike.

A few highlights here to mark the moment.

Next up: July 19. A night featuring some of our favorite Seattle artists and a special guest coming through from Berlin.

Tonight in Seattle.

We’re celebrating the release of Ultra Violets 1 with a one-night gathering featuring Adam Rose (SD), Ana-Lucid, Eliogold, Eddie Lv, Temenon, and our RP residents.

Limited UV1 shirts available, ~ bundled with the release. We’ve also got some fresh bags, stickers, and a few low-key surprises on deck.

Anchoring the VA with voltage and vision, meet Big Red Button.

🔴 Big Red Button, the duo of Adam Rose and Sydka, land their RP debut with "Bumblesteez," a warped, percussive ride full of energy and unpredictability.

Their connection to the label starts in the dust. Interwave Surfer caught Adam’s set at Echoes Festival last year. What followed was a slow build: mixes traded, long conversations, and a mutual respect for pushing sound forward. When UV1 came together, Big Red Button sent in exactly what we didn’t know we needed.

Adam, a YOON affiliate with forthcoming releases on Moe’s Records and beyond, brings sharp minimalism and crate-dug groove. Sydka brings warmth and depth from his years as a downtempo producer and modular live performer, with past work on down., Circles & Stones, and Sounds of Khemit. Together, they build something raw and focused, treating sound as conversation.

We’re excited to have Adam flying up to Seattle this weekend to join us for our event on Saturday. He’ll be playing a peak-time slot as we celebrate the release in full.

“Bumblesteez” is funky, layered, and a little unhinged. Fearless and unpolished in the best way, it captures the pulse of the project and locks in a midpoint that keeps the energy unstable in the right direction.

This one’s for the home city.

A group of artists from Seattle shaping the underground through groove, texture, and trust in the slow build. For Ultra Violets 1 [RP008], each brought something raw, focused, and distinctly Northwest.

🟣 Quarterdef & Temenon open the VA with a long-form cut that floats between dreamstate and dubwise electro. It reflects the deeper energy of their crew, Between the Lines.

🟡 Eddie Lv, a Seattle favorite with global roots, delivers a confident roller. After ten years in Beijing, he returned to the Northwest with precision and perspective.

🟣 Ana-Lucid, a resident of Makes Me Human, contributes a percussive track full of icy bounce and spiritual swing. It’s been tested on Seattle floors and captures the pulse of her sets.

🟡 Eliogold, born in Florence and based in Seattle, closes the VA with a taut, melodic cut shaped by decades of underground experience.

This is Seattle’s sound in motion. Thoughtful, grounded, and built with care.

UV1 starts here, with two tracks from Restless Planet’s co-founders, Bunny Ross and Sojourn.

🟡 Bunny delivers “Dios Dance” a charged percussive roller drawing from his background in modular sound design and live performance. True to form, Bunny walks the line between leftfield and functional, pairing hard hitting vocals and over phased acid with a locked rhythm section. Echos of Cowley-era San Francisco flicker beneath, acid-drenched and built for warehouse communion.

🟣 Sojourn contributes “Paper Paradise,” a slow-burning, textural piece shaped by live hardware sessions and calm, relaxed thoughtfulness. Focused on groove, mood, and narrative, his productions feel immersive and intentional. Sojourn’s steady, grounded approach brings a quiet strength to the label, serving as a counterbalance to the more charged energies of Bunny Ross and fellow co-founder Interwave Surfer. His work reflects a careful ear for storytelling and sonic identity.

As RP co-founders, they’ve built Restless Planet into a platform for experimentation, collaboration, and deep connection with our music community. UV1 is our latest step in building that community here in Seattle and connecting across the West Coast. This post features some of our favorite memories from over the years - including shots of Sojourn and Bunny Ross in action at our very first event back in 2022, when we released RP001.

Ultra Violets 1 ~ Release Party

We’re gathering to celebrate the next chapter of the label.

This night is built around the artists and relationships behind Ultra Violets 1 ~ our first digital VA in over two years, and the beginning of a broader series that spotlights Seattle talent alongside artists connected to the city from beyond. It’s about building bridges and documenting the energy that’s been brewing here.

Joining us for his Seattle debut is Adam Rose, longtime SD based selector and co-founder of YOON, bringing his signature blend of minimal pressure and warm, open-air energy.

Expect a tactile night. New sounds, new merch, visuals, and a few extras.
