CELEBRATING 50 MIXES AND 1 YEAR OF MUSIC 🎂🎵❤️

Joining us for mix 2 this week is - Liam Melly - Music

Inspired by the electronic music scene in his hometown, Liam started to DJ at local clubs and events, gaining recognition for his unique blend of uplifting trance and techno. His talent did not go unnoticed, and soon he was invited to play at larger venues across the UK and Europe.

As a producer, Liam has released numerous tracks on major labels such as Armada Music, Subculture, and Black Hole Recordings. His music has received support from some of the biggest names in the industry, including Armin van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, and Aly & Fila.

Liam's signature style is characterised by driving rhythms, soaring melodies, and a distinct energy that never fails to get crowds moving. His passion for music continues to drive him forward, and he remains one of Northern Ireland's most talented DJs and producers.

A big thanks to all the Djs and producer's who have sent their mixes in this year, and to everyone who's tuned in and supported 🙏

First up this week - We welcome Keeva G

Keeva G is a Donegal-born DJ and long-time raver whose deep-seated love for music has taken her around the world to attend some of the best clubs and parties. Keeva has fully immersed herself in the local techno scenes of cities in which she has lived, such as Amsterdam, London, and New York.

Now based in Belfast, Keeva has spent the last couple of years transitioning from the dancefloor to the DJ booth. Taking inspiration from dancefloors across the globe, her sets are characterised by an infectious energy and groove, earning her notable bookings at If You Know You Know festival, Coda at the Ulster Sports Club in Belfast, and some upcoming festivals in the 2024 season.

After a seven year hiatus from the scene, Sean had gathered momentum this year. Renowned for his versatility across genres, from Progressive House to Hard Trance, he has graced the stages of some of the UK's largest events and festivals, with a debut at the Anomaly Summer Of Love this year.

Currently serving as a Resident DJ at Journey (Cardiff) , one of Wales' prominent trance music events, Sean brings his signature style and energy to the forefront. Growing up as a teenager working in a restaurant kitchen listening to artists such as Bryan Kearney, Sneijder, Aly & Fila and John O’Callaghan is where his love for dance music in particular Trance was born. It wasn’t long before he was on the dance floor in clubs such as Lush, Portrush watching his favourite DJ’s perform live.

When you listen to a Hystate set you will hear the type of energy that he is wanting to bring to the listeners ears and will take you on a journey by fusing together hard Techno sounds with uplifting euphoric Trance.

CRSD has have been djing since 2018 and loves to play groovy techno and trance. He has played numerous gigs over Derry and one in Liverpool. This mix is a deep dive into his collection and consists of mainly hard groove techno. It starts with some of his older favs and progresses into more recently bangers.
