The Book Block Party may be over, but the fun doesn’t have to stop there! 🎉📚

Keep the excitement going with this Bingo card, a playful way to help kids and LOVE it. ❤️ Print the card and just start playing! Afterall, reading is the greatest . This bingo card is perfect for fall break adventures and can be enjoyed again and again, season after season.

✨ Share your bingo fun with us, we’d love to see how your family is playing along! For example, maybe there's a picture of the fort you built to read in, or a flashlight glowing under a blanket. Maybe you take a picture of your card with the completed squared marked off, or SHARE a book you read that you loved!

And keep following for more simple, creative ways to help kids fall in love with reading. If you keep showing up to find ways to read, we'll keep sharing them!!

Think of it as our little gift to everyone who joined us at the party, and an open invitation to ALL families to keep celebrating literacy together.

📚🎉 The countdown is almost over, the Book Block Party is just 1 day away!

Not sure where to find us? Don’t worry, you can’t miss it. Just look for the BIG sign that says Book Block Party and join the fun!

Also, there will be tents, and fire trucks, and Sheriff's vehicles, a giant library bus, a car show, Santa, face painting, balloon dogs, storytime stage, robots, a GIANT book exchange where kids can walk away with as many books as they want even if they didn't bring any to exchange, an adult book exchange, food trucks, amazing organizations leading incredible, fun, creative and engaging activities. This is going to be our best party yet!!!

📚✨ Exciting news! As a local author, I’ll be selling my books at this year’s Book Block Party! While I won’t be taking the stage for storytime, you might catch me making surprise appearances in my inflatable T-Rex costume 🦖💃. Come say hi, grab a book, and snap a dino-selfie!

I have to say—our community is doing some truly AMAZING things! 💙 The Book Block Party already holds a special place in my heart, but seeing the love, generosity, and commitment from everyone involved makes it even more meaningful.

This photo is extra special to me: while at a library for a meeting, my son found my very first book on the shelf and sat down to read it. Watching him discover it reminded me why I started this in the first place—because every child deserves to feel the magic of stories and the joy of reading. 📚✨

What began as just an idea has now grown into an annual event with three incredible co-hosts, 20+ participating organizations, one generous sponsor, and seven amazing book donors. I am so grateful for every single one of you who makes this possible. Together, we’re not just hosting an event—we’re building a movement of readers, dreamers, and doers.

Soni Cido writes stories full of heart and humor, empowering kids, supporting victims, and inspiring a world with fewer bullies and braver voices.

While she won’t be on the Storytime stage this year, you can visit her at the Author Table where she’ll be selling her books and making balloon dogs for the kiddos! 🐶

📚💙 A huge thank you to Mostly Books for their generous donation of two big boxes of books for the Book Block Party! Your support helps us put stories directly into the hands of kids who are eager to read.

We’re also deeply grateful to all of our donors so far. Vail Christian Church, Creation School and Kim Baiz! Every single book given means one more child leaves the party with stories to call their own. 🙌

But we’re not done yet! We’re still collecting book donations to make sure every child who comes can take home as many books as they’d like. If you’d like to help, this is a wonderful way to give back and share the love of reading.
