Aurora is loving camping. The weather has been perfect. We've relaxed by the fire, played fetch, and swam in Lake Michigan.

🐱🎉Happy Gotcha Day, Freya! I can't believe it's been a whole year since we got you from that farm!

We are currently camping out of state at the same place where we got her exactly a year ago. Swipe to the last 2 photos to see a little baby, Freya. These photos were taken inside our camper when we first got her. She was just under one pound when we got her and was pretty sick with goopy eyes 🥺

With today being Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day, I wanted to share some of our past pets: the OG pups: Selene the Border Collie (we've posted her here before she passed last year) and Jezabelle, our floofy Shepherd mix.

We also had ferrets for a long time (and even camped and hiked with them!). Pictured is Hagrid, Kreacher, Hokey, and Winky. Unfortunately, I don't have any photos on my phone of our first ferret, Dobby.

And of course our cat, Midnight.

Losing pets is the worse part of pet ownership; but making all the wonderful memories with them us 100% worth it.

🐶 Happy National Dog Day! I couldn't ask for a better co-pilot than Aurora!

I know there's always controversy between the 'adopt-don't-shop' and "adopt-or-shop-responsibility' peeps.. but I have 0 regrets for finding an ethical breeder who gave me such a perfect dog. Thanks

Having rescued from a shelter, as well as having bought from a backyard breeder, and ending up with 2 reactive dogs (who we loved dearly), having a well-bred dog that can easily go everywhere with you is a breath of fresh air.

Just loafing about. Freya went back inside to loaf: she surprisingly gets hot quicker than the rest.

💜 Anyone know of a brand that has lavendar colored winter dog coats (or even lilac)??

Our favorite coats have always been but their colors are always limited 🥺
I might have a small obsession with dressing Aurora in lavendar 😆
