❤️ There's no way to put into words the emotions of getting and raising your first non-reactive dog after spending the last 15 years with 2 reactive ones. IYKYK
🐶 We loved our Jezabelle and Selene with all our hearts, but I'd be lying if I said life with them was easy. We were always on the lookout for other dogs and people getting too close, which kept us at a level of anxiety when we did anything with them: which was a lot: agility, hiking, camping, beaches, and many other adventures!
This photo on a restaurant outdoor patio was a first for both of us. We also went to a dog event that I've always wanted to go to (Frankenmuth Dog Bowl), but never wanted to go without having a dog with me, and neither of our previous girls could handle such an event. Aurora was an absolute Rockstar! Hundreds of dogs were everywhere and sometimes in her face, and she didn't bark once, except for when the Border Collies were doing a sheep-herding demonstration. She clearly knew she was watching 'her people'; and kind of lost her mind 😆 I honestly was so in the moment with her that day, that I didn't get a single photo 🫣 I'm so excited to see what the future will bring Aurora and us.
Thank you to Gina for such a perfect girly! 💜
