Moxie matters.

As a 17-year old high schooler, Taylor Kennedy spotted sports broadcasting icon Tony Caridi at an exhibition basketball game in Morgantown. Taylor had long dreamed of a career in sports journalism. In that moment, Taylor had the courage to approach Tony, introduce himself and strike up a conversation.

His moxie led to a student internship which evolved into a five-year job at MetroNews, including a multi-year stint as the Producer of “3 Guys Before the Game” podcast. Today, Taylor works as a sports reporter for WV’s largest newspaper.
