Back in November we hit our target of raising £6000 in order to distribute 1000 books to children who need them most. We are now in the final stages of fulfilling our promise, with books going out to school across the UK. We will post updates as we hear from schools but in the meantime this is just to say THANK YOU to all who contributed to this. It's something for us all to be proud of! 🤩 💜 🥳

Over the weekend we have managed to reach over 70% of our crowdfunding goal. Amazing! We made a promise that if we reached this milestone we would send 350 books across to Children's Books Ireland, ahead of the campaign ending, to ensure they reach kids by Christmas. So today we are sending those books! Thank you all so much for helping to make this happen.

The books will go via Children's Books Ireland, to children in Traveller communities, direct provision (Ireland's asylum-seeker accommodation) and kids experiencing homelessness. They will receive a books from the brand new Illustrate This Book series, that gives kids the chance to illustrate their own picture book with drawing tips and prompts from four awesome illustrators (swipe right to meet them!).

Next stop: 100%!

Please help us by buying a book through the crowdfunder (link below) or by making a small donation if you have the means. Or if you can't contribute at the moment, please do share this campaign with others. Thank you.
