long time no see✨
2025 has been an exciting year for our team so far as we explore new projects and ways of being creative - but it has meant that nawr has gone a little quieter in the meantime! we’re still here, but on a bit of an unplanned break. you can still enjoy all of our previous issues via the link in our bio, and buy our latest issue!
thanks for your interest and support as always; we love being a part of this community, even if we’re on the sidelines for the moment!❤️❤️

ISSUE 2: EXTRA

We are exciting to bring you some extra content to run alongside the lastest issue, deffro/awaken. Angela Graham, writer and film maker, shares translations of her poem 'Newid' in Welsh, English and Ulster-Scots, as well as reflecting on the stories behind the poetry and the business of translation.

Hello to our lovely followers and contributors ❤
We are very aware that we've been quiet over the past few months, and we just wanted to let you know that issue twelve IS coming. Running a volunteer magazine means that sometimes life gets in the way. Our final print of nawr 12 was delayed, and we are really frustrated to share that this month, our shipment of nawr has been consistently delayed. We are still waiting for it to arrive (and getting those messages which I'm sure you're all equally as familiar with and frustrated by - where is our parcel?!).
Issue twelve is on its way. We are hoping to have it online in the next fortnight-3 weeks, and are so frustrated that we cannot be more specific, or speedy than this. Please know all of us are using all the time we have around our commitments to get this to you, and we really care about publishing your work, and delivering you quality work and writing from Wales.
Apologies again, and we hope you understand❤.

Nos galan gaeaf hapus! The nawr team have been hibernating by designing the magazine, we are very excited to provide comfort this Autumn season through art and creativity. We’re focusing on how art can be comforting during these colder months, especially going on long walks, listening to comforting music, spending time in nature. We can’t wait for you to see the issue! 🍃 🧣

We are horrified at the violence aimed at Muslim, immigrant and refugee communities in the past week. We urge you to use your voice, reach out to your vulnerable friends, and make our hopeful majority heard in the face of a violent, hateful minority. ❤️❤️❤️
