Let’s try this one last time. Who’s in?! 🙋🏾‍♀️

I probably won’t do this after this year so please enjoy while you can!

Think of it less like a “challenge” and more like a daily motivator throughout the whole year.

Like my podcast, this is gonna be low key with a few rules that you can follow in a way that suits you best.
Each month I’m giving you a theme and daily prompts that will inspire, keep you engaged and give you the opportunity to improve your vocabulary, or your speaking or writing skills. You can join during any month or you can do the whole year.

Prompts are open-ended, for any language at any level. Interpret them how you wish.
You can use these for speaking challenges, writing challenges, photo/caption challenges to describe the prompt each day.

You can make a reel, a story, a grid post. It can be a photo with a caption, anecdote or story of the daily prompt. You can make this as literal as you choose or interpret freely. Share it with a language buddy and learn more about one another in 2025.

Comment below if you’re going to do any of the prompts this month!

There’s a new season of Speaking Tongues starting on Monday and going throughout the summer.

A LOT of you ask me which languages are coming up next and while I usually don’t like to spill the beans, I made an exception this time. Details about every upcoming episode are available in this summer lookbook.

All you have to go is go to the linktree in my bio and download it. It’s free and it’s only a few pages!

And even if you want to remain surprised, let me be the first to tell you that every episode is 🔥

I loved my 80’s Barbies!! This month is quite an exercise in the past perfect tense. I’m still struggling and figuring out the best ways to use it so corrections are welcome!

If you’re planning on participating this month, it’s ALSO a good time for you to practice past tenses.

Tell me what you used to play or play with in your childhood 👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾

EN: I absolutely loved double dutch when I was growing up. I’m so glad that I grew up in the 80’s and 90’s when kids actually jumped rope on the playground. I will never forget the first time that I saw the older girls jumping and I became obsessed with learning. I spent an entire summer studying their rhythms and practicing the popular jump rope songs. By the time summer was over, I was finally starting to jump really well. I jumped double dutch probably every day until I was 14 years old. It was my passion!

Tell me what was your favorite childhood game? 👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾

Last night, we spent Valentine’s Day at the movies watching One Love. It’s a fantastic movie and I highly recommend seeing it while it’s in theaters! It’s interesting to note that there’s quite a bit of Jamaican language in the film so if you’re not familiar with the language there are times you could be a bit lost. Maybe? But maybe not because the story is a universal one. I was really excited to hear REAL accents and not the Hollywood catch-all Caribbean accents in the film.
Anywho, I bought this dress in Kingston,Jamaica last year so I was excited to have an occasion to wear it. My hat is not an attempt to wear a rastafari cap. It was below freezing last night and my hair is a mess 😂

STP 365 Day 29/Day 30 One of my Goals & Currently Reading (en français)

Un objectif que j’ai cette année est de lire plus. J’espère cette année lire 50 livres. Je suis en train de lire, en fait, le dernier livre que j’ai lu, c’était ce livre intitulé The Centre. Stay tuned, car je veux vous en dire plus.
