My initial plan was to finish this before the launch, but I figured it would be cool to have everything look as accurate as possible, so I finished it up today with the new reference photos! I hope you guys like it, my inspiration for the perspective was one of the posters, and then I wanted to mimic the clean white photo shoots for real launches.
Someday, leathers and bike liveries and I will get along… Someday. 🤣 I’m not sure why I drew Alex with a scarf? Haha it looked nice in the initial sketch so he has a face scarf for the colder race weekends in this illustration. I usually color grade my stuff but I wanted the colors to be accurate for this post!
Anyways, this is was a lot of fun, I have some little portraits of these two I want to upload as well, but this was my initial plan!
GO BLUE! So stoked for this season!! Best of luck at the Sepang tests the next few days to Yamaha riders and crew!
