Good morning on another beautiful day in Central New Mexico. Today, the boys from the VA Creative Writing Group ventured near to the heart of Albuquerque, where we lunched at the 66 Diner on Central Avenue. What a great place to visit, eat, and share camaraderie. The food was terrific, the service impressive (fast and non-obtrusive), and you can easily spend hours appreciating the historic decor both outside and inside a former Phillips 66 service station. Good morning on this fine August day from Central New Mexico. The boys from the VA Creative Writing Group ventured south of Albuquerque to the Isleta Pueblo and their small truck stop, the Isleta Grill @47. Why @47? Because their address is 4047 New Mexico Highway 47. And do they make tasty food?
