Priscilla Ojo shares threatening letter her mum received weeks before fire outbreak at her office

Actress and influencer Priscilla Ojo has revealed a chilling letter her mother, Iyabo Ojo, allegedly received weeks before the fire incident that gutted her office.

Priscilla shared a photo of the typed threat on her Instagram story, showing that it was delivered to her mum’s office on May 24th — the same office that caught fire on July 8th.

The anonymous note, signed by a group calling themselves “Aggrieved Group,” warned that Iyabo’s daughter would not enjoy her marriage and that the family would be monitored over the next three months. It threatened to scatter the union and described Priscilla’s partner as “useless and rubbish.”

Reacting to the incident, Priscilla disclosed that her mum was on her way to Tanzania for her wedding at the time and didn’t get to read the letter until she returned. She hinted at previous attempts to disrupt her marriage plans, which she referred to as “JP2025,” and claimed the fire may have been a follow-up plan after previous ones failed.

Police Open Fire As Protesters Advance During Anniversary Rallies In Nairobi

Kenyan police fired on a group of protesters in Nairobi on Monday, as demonstrations flared across the country to commemorate the 35th anniversary of pro-democracy rallies, according to media reports.
One man was subsequently seen lying motionless on the road with a bloody wound in the latest demonstrations to hit Kenya since the death of blogger Albert Ojwang in police custody last month gave fresh impetus to public protests.
Police spokesperson Muchiri Nyaga did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Authorities have ramped up police deployments in Nairobi since youth-led protests in June 2024 that initially focused on tax hikes but expanded to cover issues such as graft, police brutality and unexplained disappearances of government critics.
A media reporter saw police use tear gas and water cannon on Monday to disperse the protesters along a key artery in Nairobi as hundreds of demonstrators advanced. Some blew whistles as they marched in Kangemi, a northwestern suburb of the capital.
Hours later, protesters and police scuffled, with police opening fire on the crowd, according to the reporter.

Liverpool forward Diogo Jota dies aged 28 following tragic car accident in Spain

According to Reuters Jota and his brother Andre, also a professional footballer, both died when the vehicle they were travelling in came off the road in the province of Zamora, in the north west of Spain, just after midnight on Thursday.

Witnesses, who called Spain’s emergency services, told the media they saw the car burst into flames, which spread to nearby vegetation. Jota, 28, married his partner Rute Cardoso on June 22. The couple had three children.

Celebrations erupted outside the New York courthouse after the P Diddy verdict was read inside the court.

Some fans went so far as pouring baby oil on each other’s bodies, with one supporter removing her bright blue wig as she danced around in her underwear covered in oil.

Sean “P. Diddy” Combs was acquitted on three of five charges today as the jury reached a verdict after three days of deliberation.

The former rap mogul was found not guilty of two charges of s£x trafficking and one charge of racketeering conspiracy, and guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in pr0stitution.

The baby oil is a reference to the drug-fueled s3x parties, or “freak-offs,” that were a frequent topic of discussion during testimony. Thousands of bottles of baby oil were found during raids on Diddy’s Los Angeles and Miami homes in March 2024.

President Tinubu bags Knight Commander title in Saint Lucia

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been bestowed with the esteemed title of Knight Commander of the Order of Saint Lucia (KCOSL) by the Government of Saint Lucia.

The Governor General’s office presented the honour in appreciation of President Tinubu’s leadership and regional collaboration efforts.

Tinubu’s Special Assistant on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, disclosed this in a statement posted on his X handle.

In Saint Lucia, the KCOSL is one of the most prestigious national awards.

President Tinubu is on a state visit to Saint Lucia.
