It’s time- after five incredible years and six seasons (four of the Healthy Balanced Mama podcast and two of the Healthy Mama Kitchen), it’s time to close the kitchen doors.
This Monday was the last (official) episode of the Healthy Mama Kitchen podcast- and though it was bittersweet recording the announcement episode and the last Q&A episode (live now)- the day came and went as I pqcked up my own kitchen gear and headed back home after a week of private cheffing in Martha’s Vineyard. It wasn’t until I was home and received some of the sweetest messages from many of you that I realized I should probably give it a proper farewell ;)
I think the day coming and going without the stress I think I would have felt any time before is a testament to the right timing.
I have loved sharing and pouring into this podcast for the past six years- whether it be interviewing guests or sharing my own story of finding balance with food and motherhood- to transitioning- as my own life and business has- to focusing on the kitchen again, the place where I know I am meant to be.
And if you had asked me a year ago if I would ever end the podcast I’d tell you, ‘no of course not!’.
But here we are- and it truly does feel right. As much as I will miss sharing my meal ideas, advice on meal planning and prep, our favorite weeknight meals and way too many tangents on everything but (I’ll still bring recording those type of episodes for the - albeit in a lesser frequency than on the podcast)- it’s time for me to focus on my family, to focus on my business in-person and to allow more space to pour into the Healthy Mama Cooking Club and the places that feel aligned for me in this season.
This is also a thank you- to everyone who has listened over the years, to one podcast or all 425 including bonuses that have aired in the past five years- I appreciate you, I appreciate your messages telling me the podcast has inspired you in any way, it makes these past six seasons feel so, so worth it.
Until next time- happy cooking. 💛
