I’m trying to raise enough money to help a super nice couple fix their 19 unfixed house cats. I did already book an appointment for one male cat for this upcoming week and I previously took in 2 of the females to my sanctuary and fixed them. So there’s still 18 cats we need to get fixed ASAP before there’s more kittens. They took all these cats from the street with good intentions but didn’t realize how fast it would become a problem. It started with 6 cats and now we’re at 19 already. Please help me to help them! Link in bio

I saved these two ladies today. Their mom became homeless recently and they had been living in the car with her. They’re not in good condition and the orange girl has such a bad skin condition so they’ll be going to the vet asap. I’ve sent resources to their mom as well to help her find a place to stay. I’m happy these two have a safe place to stay now and I’m sure their owner will be relieved to know they’re in great hands.

Today I drove 9 kitties to the vet to get fixed! (4 hours of driving total just for the vet appointment) and then returned them to their caretakers. It’s a small dent in a major problem but it feels like progress. I did a short hike to look at plants after dropping the cats off and before heading to work this evening. I heard two barred owls calling as I hiked back to the car! 🦉

Apparently it’s National Dog Day! Here are my two pups, Fern and Charlie. I rescued them both as senior pups from my local kill shelter 3 years ago. They were the longest residents and they are the BEST boys. They tag along for a lot of my hiking adventures.
