📷The construction of a Skills Training Centre at Ndeke Masuzyo area has commenced.

Resources available will facilitate construction of two workshops and an office under phase one this year.

In subsequent years more funds will be availed from cdf to add extra needed infrastructure.

LASTING SOLUTION TO ZAMBIA'S ECONOMIC PROBLEMS

, the lasting solution to OUR economic difficulties does not lie in the IMF.

It lies in the collection of fair and adequate revenue from the mining sector for support to secondary industries such as manufacturing.

It lies in the development of the arts, a hugely important industry that those in power today have reduced to a footnote in a ministry!

It lies in increased state support to agriculture and enhanced food security, but those in power today are quicker to listen to the IMF and remove subsidies on farming inputs even when the US and other Western countries till subsidise their own agriculture industry.

It lies in increased state investment to social sectors such as education and health.

Do you know why in china there is no corruption,

They don't practice democracy as a means of governing people - they are in socialism/communism.

That's what we had during KK. No could mess up and the government leaves him alone.

Democracy only means to make the poor people suffer more and more and when elections comes, the same people that are poor, they come and campaign and after politicians gets what they want, the poor people goes back to complain again and again.

So it's sad that we don't understand what we want and why we want it.

CHIBULUMA ROAD PROTEST.

This afternoon we have offcially notified the police over our intentions to do a peaceful protest over the poor state of the Chibuluma Road and the inertia by the ministry of infrastructure to address this problem despite the numerous promises.

The public would recall that we have enganged the ministry over this matter for a countless number of times and almost a month ago on the floor of parliament the minister again made assurance which have not been supported by any actions since.

Our worry now is that time has started running out and we may get into the excuses of the next rain season especially that tendering processes takes long.

This therefore is to inform the general public that we will be expressing our displeasure through a peaceful protest this week on friday starting at 09hrs and the starting point will be the Nkana east central street traffic lights.
All those who feels affected by the poor state of the road can join the procession otherwise we will do a lone protest if others are not interested.
