For a long time, I was silent.
Smiling on the outside. Dying on the inside
Because the truth is -- Abuse doesn't always leave bruises. Sometimes, it leaves invisible scars on your mind, your spirit and your soul.
I survived a marriage filled with control, manipulation, gaslighting and spiritual distortion.
And I was told "to pray harder"
To be "more submissive"
"God hates divorce "
"It's not abandonment unless it's physical abandonment "
To "keep the marriage together-no matter what"
But what about me? what about the women crying behind closed doors, breaking down behind makeup, fading behind fake smiles?
⚡️ I'm done protecting dysfunction
⚡️ I'm done keeping up with appearances
⚡️ I'm done letting silence be my story

Proverbs 31:8 says:
"Speak up for those who can not speak up for themselves."
So I'm speaking up 🔊 for me. For you. For every woman who thought she had to stay silent.
