Let's show our support to the Black community by not just celebrating them for a month. Let's celebrate them year round. Let's show our support by getting to know the brands that many of these brave entrepreneurs have launched.
Today I'll be featuring Black-Owned purse brands. Take a look at the brands. If you can't purchase their products, there's other ways to show support. Follow their page, share with friends, leave reviews if you have their products. These simple actions go a long way for them.

Happy New Year! Hope everyone was able to enjoy the holidays and spend time with friends and family.

Since most of us set New Year Resolutions at the beginning of the year, I have put together at list of diverse-owned brands we can support while we work on achieving our 2023 goals.

Let 2023 be the year we are intentional and accomplish all our goals! What is your 2023 resolution?

As we are all gearing up to purchase gifts for ourselves, family and friends, here is a quick list of diverse-owned business you can support this Holiday season!

Remember that some of these are small businesses and every purchase means a lot to them. Be patient and give them ample time to ship. A lot of these businesses are run by families or have a small staff.

US startups founded solely by women raised 83% higher venture capital funding than the total raised in 2020, according to PitchBook data. However, it only compromised 2% of the total VC funding available in the US in 2021.

VC funding may have increased for women-led startups but we are still have a long way to go to close the inequality gap.

Women-owned business have it harder to succeed but we, as a community, can help them move forward. We can intentionally buy their products and services and spread the word about their business.

With the start of Women's History Month, I will be highlighting a couple of Women-Owned liquor brands.

Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey was founded by Fawn Weaver, the first Black woman to run a major Whiskey brand.

21Seeds Tequila is a fresh-fruit infused tequila for low-calorie, easy-to-make cocktails. It's available in three flavors: cucumber jalapeño, Valencia orange and grapefruit hibiscus.

YOLA MEZCAL is an all-female operation. The mezcal is crafted and bottled in Oaxaca, Mexico by a team of women, focused on sustainability from production to consumption.

Catan Pisco is the first American pisco brand and first female-owned pisco brand in the history of Chile. Pisco is a liquor distilled from grapes. You might have seen the cocktail Pisco Sour in restaurant menus (pisco is the main ingredient).
