Through vivid storytelling and raw lyricism, The Riksha unpacks the historical violence and systemic exploitation tied to the spread of Western empires — with a powerful focus on Canada’s own colonial past.

The song challenges listeners to reflect on the institutions we often take for granted and the histories they conceal.

Produced by Peace Omega of Diamond Sun, this song is the lead single off of Rawty Raw’s upcoming “Morning Coffee EP” dropping this coming Tuesday, June 9th, 2025. It’s just the 1st EP of a series of 3 releasing this year.

It is also Rawty’s debut as a producer and engineer for Type A Records. He was fully involved and instrumental in the recording, mixing and mastering of this project. He proved to be not only a prolific songwriter and arranger, but also that he has both the ear and the vision to self produce.

His relentless work ethic and consistant delivery of exceptional art, both sonically and visually, is a rarity in these times. It is both a privelege and an honour to have him be part of our movement. That being said, we have been working tirelessly to bring you new music, and the day has finally arrived!!

Ché Uno & Vago have just released their latest album "Nueva Ola Dos: Nivel Dios" on Type A Records Inc.

The sonic landscape was entirely produced by Vago, with Ché adding his lyrical talents with his signature vocal presence.

The album contains features from Lord Juco, Wizdome Bunitall, Checkmate, Asun Eastwood, Kingdom Kome and many more.
