After Indianapolis, my semi retirement went into effect. No more officials, no more grind, just a little racing for fun, broadcasting, and some other side projects. After winning a split of the RaceSpot US500, running in the second US 500, and other special events like the Hoosier 500 Mile Race and the RaceSpot 230 I thought it would be fun to have a special event annually for the community. And why not run it on the anniversary of P1 Broadcasting’s founding.

The P1 600 was born. The transition from racer to broadcaster to promoter is complete. The sponsor roster and the purse are full. Six months of work culminates in 600 Kilometers at Virtual Michigan Speedway tommorow at 2PM, live on P1.
