🚀 Last month, kicked off Ai.starter 2025!

In partnership with key regional institutions, Zone01 Oujda launched the first ever edition of Ai.starter, a pioneering program designed to upskill public sector professionals in coding, AI, and digital innovation.

Held from April 14–18, the program brought together 30 participants from government institutions for a hands-on journey into tech learning, collaborative problem solving, and the future of digital administration.

More than just training, it was a transformative human experience driving smarter, more connected public services.

After 10 years working as a lab technician, Fabien took a bold step to follow his passion: software development. For the past two years, he’s been learning, struggling, progressing and ultimately transforming into a skilled FullStack developer with expertise in BackEnd, FrontEnd, and DevOps.

As he completes his journey at Zone01 Rouen Normandie, he’s now ready to take on the next challenge: joining a supportive team and building meaningful projects.

Last month, Zone01 Athens stood out by actively participating in key tech and innovation events. From hosting RoboTalk with Lars Rasmussen, to joining a cybersecurity fireside chat, organizing its first design hackathon, speaking at TEDx
Piraeus, and welcoming a ProductTank session during the Panathenea festival, the campus attracted hundreds of learners, designers, and innovators.

Proudly Welcomes Kibabii University Learners 🚀

Earlier this May, Zone01 Kisumu had the honor of hosting learners from Kibabii University as part of their curriculum-based industrial visit under the KIEP-SKIES initiative, a World Bank-funded program aimed at equipping youth with rapid tech and business skills.

During their visit, our developers led engaging sessions, offering real-world insights and showcasing the innovative solutions being developed within our ecosystem.

It was a valuable day of learning, collaboration, and inspiration, bridging education and industry to empower the next generation of tech talent. 💡🌍

On May 8, as part of the international Panathenea tech & startup festival, hosted a ProductTank Athens side-event.

The focus was how product teams actually operate in the U.S., and what Greece-based talent can learn from global best practices. 🇺🇸🇬🇷

Speakers from Emerson Collective and UiPath joined the discussion.

Zone01 Athens learners had full access to all the conferences organized on campus, an invaluable opportunity that gave them deeper immersion in the professional world and exposure to international industry standards.

Inspiring visit at !

We recently welcomed students from FGCK Masogo CDC, a Compassion International-supported project in Homabay.

They explored the world of coding and tech with curiosity and enthusiasm during an engaging session led by our team. It was a truly inspiring exchange! 🙂

On May 3rd, hosted a major cybersecurity competition in partnership with AUSIM and Sec Dojo, bringing together 36 finalist teams out of 100 initial entries. The event highlighted the growing tech ecosystem in Oujda, received strong media coverage, and strengthened the strategic collaboration between AUSIM and 01Talent Morocco.

Three winning teams were awarded for their outstanding performance.

Offshoring Talents, it’s on!

The operation has officially launched!

At , 15 exceptional talents have been carefully selected to match the exact needs of our partners in Morocco.

🇲🇦 Khalid Cherti, Talent Manager have welcomed talents in Rabat.

From Senegal to Morocco, their arrival was smooth and warm, complete with a city tour, Moroccan cuisine, and a visit to Arribat Center to get settled in.

They were welcomed at .officiel, where they had begun their mission.

🚀 AI Starter Recap – Oujda Edition!

From April 14th to 18th, 2025, Zone01 Oujda hosted 22 participants for a unique first dive into coding and AI during the AI Starter Piscine specially designed for Zone01 Oujda’s institutional and community partners. 💡

Big thanks to all the professionals to all the profressionals partner institution of the Zone who took part: CRI de l’Oriental, OFPPT, ANAPEC, Bachaouia de Beni Drar, the Chambers of Commerce (Oujda & Casablanca), Wilaya of the Oriental Region, DRCINT Oujda, Province of Berkane, ADO, AREP, USMO, AREF Oriental… And of course well done, congratulations to the amazing zone01 Oujda team. 🙏🏼

For 48 hours, and Berrijam AI turned up the heat, coding, designing, and pushing AI to its limits. Ideas flew fast, energy was high, and sleep was nowhere to be found! It was all about teamwork, passion, and a bit of madness.
