When you give an inservice presentation on DOACs to the ICU team, provide formulary updates to the pharmacy staff and give a CE presentation (twice!) on Atypical Antipsychotic Induced Metabolic Syndrome in one day (all with positive feedback). Another daily reminder to myself that “sis you’re doing a good job”. ❤️

AND THAT'S A WRAP! Today was officially the last day of my P2 year. It was the most difficult year personally and professionally. Thankfully I made it through with the support of family and friends. I learned that I'm stronger than what I give myself credit for and that there is truly beauty in the struggle, so I'm grateful for even the bad days. Ya girl is officially a P3! Summer 2022 let's get it! ❤️

In one of my most recent sessions my therapist told me "to stop driving and looking in the rearview." I'm one of the those people who can have the tendency to dwell on past mistakes and things I could have done differently. Driving backwards only cause more damage and drama in my life. Overall you never grow. This year I chose to drive forwards and show up as my authentic self (the good, bad, and the ugly). I challenge you to do the same. ❤️

It's crazy when you see you passions and prayers manifest right in front of you. Today I found out I was selected to be a panelist/speaker for a major STEM event in NC that will host roughly 400 people. While nervous I'm grateful for the opportunity to tell my story and offer advice. ❤️

I strongly believe health is wealth. There are more benefits to exercise than just looking good. For me, it improves my mental health. Exercise helps reduce my brain fog, releases endorphins, and improves my overall mood. It truly helps me get out of those “blah” days. While everyone has their go to exercise, I like . I can do a bike ride, strength or dance class all at home. Shoutout to my mom who is my peloton partner, keeping me encouraged & motivated. I challenge you even if it’s only 10 minutes, take some time out to get active, your brain will thank you.
