After announcing his retirement from being a player Jay Croop announced on a local Columbus Sports morning show that he will “be coaching in the same league, that will be officially announced next Monday”

Where do all of you guys think Croop will land as a coach?

It appears Steve Donner has resurfaced from the rock he crawled under. It was announced today that he will be the new CEO for the Corpus Christi IceRays. It is still undetermined if the IceRays know of Donner’s history of teams folding under his watch. Most recently, it was the Elmira Mammoth. Our sources have stated he bolted out of town still owing money to multiple players and the arena. During his time in Elmira, there were multiple news reports about his alleged ties to a scandal where anonymous sources stated he helped hide an accused ra**st who was wanted by police in Utah. When will the players and Elmira get what is owed to them? Well Steve, we’re waiting.

Congrats to Binghamton for a back to back final series sweep. For two consecutive seasons the Black Bears will lift the Commissioners cup after defeating the Carolina Thunderbirds. We can’t wait to hear what shenanigans the cup will see during the off season.

It’s Finals Friday as we are set for game 3 of the Commissioners Cup finals! It is win or go home for the Carolina Thunderbirds as they travel to take on the Binghamton Black Bears. The Bears are looking for a repeat of last year, while the Birds are hoping history doesn’t repeat itself. Puck drops at 7:00PM in Bingo

Game One of the Commissioners Cup finals is in the books. Brant Sherwood’s Binghamton Black Bears take down Steve Harrison’s Carolina Thunderbirds in Carolina. The Bears led for the entire game goalie Connor McAnanama faced 35 shots and only allowed one past.
