🇺🇸🇶🇦As per a report by The White House, on 14 May 2025, US President Donald Trump signed an agreement with Qatar to generate an economic exchange worth at least $1.2 trillion.
🫱🏻‍🫲🏼President Trump also announced economic deals totaling more than $243.5 billion between the United States and Qatar, including a historic sale of Boeing aircraft and GE Aerospace engines to Qatar Airways.
👉🏼According to reports, these new agreements and instruments aim to drive the growth of the US-Qatar bilateral commercial relationship, create jobs, and open new trade and investment opportunities for both countries over the coming decade and beyond.

Qatar’s Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has expanded its national immunisation programme to include 15 vaccines protecting against 17 diseases. These vaccines are available free of charge at Hamad Medical Corporation’s primary healthcare centres and more than 70 private clinics across the country.
The updated schedule now includes the HPV vaccine for adolescents, the shingles vaccine for older adults, and the RSV vaccine for the elderly—broadening protection across age groups.
In line with World Immunisation Week, the MoPH has ramped up public awareness efforts to promote vaccine access and strengthen community protection. It continues to collaborate with healthcare providers to boost public participation in national vaccination campaigns.
