The first comic issue of The Battle for Steel City drops this month! Originally planned as a 200-page graphic novel, I have decided to break it into five issues to roll out the story and gather feedback.

Once all five issues are released, they’ll be collected into a full graphic novel.

Not the final cover art, but I am excited to start this soon. Looking to have it out next month so I can maybe release the third final book around halloween. It will be a lot scarier. My goal is to really push the limits and get creative with visual effects with this one. The Hidden Commander of the Neo Freedom Fighters (NNF)

Don is the enigmatic and revered leader of the NNF—the Neo Freedom Fighters—a resistance faction forged in the ashes of Steel City's collapse. He’s not just a strategist; he’s a legend. In the First Battle for Steel City, Don confronted Zed directly, delivering a devastating wound that forced Zed to retreat to his towering stronghold and call a ceasefire, ending the war—temporarily.

Knowing his life was now the key to the rebellion, Don vanished into the deepest corridors beneath Zone 1. From the shadows of the lower city, he began rebuilding—recruiting warriors, planning sabotage missions, and planting the seeds of a revolution. His continued survival made him Zed’s greatest threat—and the most wanted figure in all of Steel City.

Few have ever seen Don since that day. Only the highest-ranking NNF members know how to reach him. He resides deep in the forgotten tunnels, heavily protected by traps, elite guards, and secrecy. He doesn’t hide out of fear—he hides for the future. His presence is the heartbeat of the rebellion.

Don wields a colossal, energy-infused war hammer that pulses with raw power, capable of smashing mechs and drones alike. Towering in a gold-plated skull mask and massive robotic frame, he cuts an imposing figure. Cloaked in a dark hooded trench coat, he moves like a ghost through the depths—watching, waiting.

He is the resistance. When he emerges again, it will be to end Zed… for good.

Meet Wik - Wik is the second-in-command of the NFF—a reserved and intimidating presence known for speaking only in single words or short, sharp sentences. He rarely engages in conversation unless absolutely necessary, preferring to communicate through action—especially during combat and missions.

Wik’s silence isn't weakness—it’s discipline. When he speaks or approaches you directly, it’s either to deliver a critical message from Don, the NFF’s leader, or to signal a serious turn of events—good or bad.

He’s fiercely loyal to Don, serving as his enforcer, bodyguard, and most trusted operative. Armed with his signature dual pistols, Wik is a walking threat, a silent executioner whose strength and precision speak louder than words ever could.

Among the faction, it's understood: if Wik ever opens up to you, you've proven yourself. And if Don were ever to fall—captured, step down, or worse—Wik would be the natural successor to lead the NFF.

Battle For Steel City

Zone 2 and Zone 3 were already in development, but as our vision for Battle for Steel City continues to grow, so does our ambition. We're now in the early stages of building a story-driven game for Steam, with plans to expand into a broader metaverse experience focused on PC and console platforms.

Horizon Worlds has been an important part of our creative journey, and we’re grateful for what it’s helped us build. While we may still release select experiences there, our current direction calls for tools and platforms that align more closely with our long-term goals.

This is just the beginning of the next evolution of Zone Wars—and we can't wait to share what’s coming.

Something I put together quickly for Zone Wars—more high-quality videos are on the way. This was originally going to be a fully animated trailer rendered in Unreal Engine, but due to time constraints—and the fact that Zone Wars is currently a dead world—I had to shift gears.

I threw this together to try and keep the spark alive. Hopefully, it helps in some small way. Once I have more time, I’ll continue working on the rest of the content I had planned.

It’s definitely disheartening that Zone Wars isn't featured in any menus right now and seems to have lost traction. But I’m not giving up on it. I’m planning new updates and will be pushing my own marketing to try and revive it. It may not be registering with the current audience yet, but I believe it still has a lot of potential.

Meet Ray – a fierce warrior with a relentless demeanor. Hardened by countless battles, Ray is rigid, intense, and harbors deep mistrust for anyone outside the faction. He’s highly selective about who he speaks to and shows open disdain for newcomers.

Earning Ray’s respect is no small feat. Even once you've proven yourself, he remains brutally honest, quick to criticize, and rarely gives credit. His standards are sky-high, and he expects nothing less than excellence.
