I would like to say I am grateful and thankful to be honored two years in a row. I am especially happy to see that Elizabeth Ascevesand Lizzie Rodriguez was also nominated as women leaders for the year of 2024.
On Friday, October 18, 2024, the San Diego Regional East County Chamber of Commerce of will be celebrating its 22nd Annual Women in Leadership event at Sycuan Casino Resort. In 2003 the first Women in Leadership Luncheon (WILL) was launched with the idea of honoring women who excel professionally and as community leaders. The successful women of San Diego County, along with our inspirational keynote speakers, keep WILL growing year after year. The heart of WILL centers around each years' nominees: women who demonstrate exemplary character, integrity, and leadership. The roster of awardees over the past 21 years is a genuine San Diego honor roll. This year is sure to break records with keynote speaker Dr. Adela de la Torre, President of San Diego State University, emceed by KUSI's Lauren Phinney.
