Shree Tikaa Bhairav,
Lele, Lalitpur

Tikaa Bhairav, also known as Tyankaa Bhaila to natives, is considered as one among 8 main Bhairavs of Kathmandu valley. It is also one among four wheels of chariot of Rato Machhindranath (Bunga Dya). There is also a tradition to worship this bhairav by the locals of Chapagaun and Thecho, if there isn't enough rainfall during plantation season.

An annual festival is celebrated of Tikaa Bhairav along with Kumari and other deities, where the statues are carried around the town in palanquin along with musical groups, and it is marked on Chaitra Purnima every year !
