I don't get out anymore, But I still hear a lot about what goes on in our local music scene. The latest trend is venues (Bars) booking bands and artists letting them perform the entire gig and then not paying the agreed Apon rate, I've heard of 3 different instances at two different venues with 3 different artists/Bands in the last month alone. I've been to both places and once things turn around and I can get back out I won't be going to either of them or any establishment owned by them.
