HOLA! “morte cucina” is going to Spain! 🥩🔪
morte cucina (ครัวสาว) ภาพยนตร์ขนาดยาวเรื่องล่าสุดโดย เป็นเอก รัตนเรือง ได้รับเลือกให้ฉายรอบปฐมทัศน์โลก (World Premiere) ณ เทศกาลภาพยนตร์นานาชาติซาน เซบาสเตียน ครั้งที่ 73 ประเทศสเปน ปลายเดือนกันยายนนี้!
morte cucina (ครัวสาว) เป็นหนังทริลเลอร์-ดรามา เล่าเรื่องราวของ สาว พนักงานเสิร์ฟหญิง ณ ร้านอาหารแห่งหนึ่งในกรุงเทพผู้มีฝีมือการทำอาหารที่ยอดเยี่ยม เธอกำลังจะมีชีวิตที่ดี แต่โชคชะตาเล่นตลกเมื่อวันหนึ่ง สาวพบกับชายที่เคยสร้างบาดแผลทางกายและใจแก่เธอในอดีต ความพยาบาทที่ถูกกระตุ้นทำให้สาวใช้ทักษะการทำอาหารไทยเลิศรสที่เร่าร้อนเพื่อล้างแค้นชายผู้เคยทำร้ายเธออย่างเยือกเย็น
ภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้เป็นการกลับมาร่วมงานอีกครั้งในรอบทศวรรษของเป็นเอกและ คริสโตเฟอร์ ดอยล์ ผู้กำกับภาพระดับโลก นำแสดงโดย เบลล่า บุญแสง, กฤษณ์ ศรีภูมิเศรษฐ์, ปีเตอร์-นพชัย ชัยนาม และนักแสดงรับเชิญคู่บุญผู้กำกับอย่าง ทาดาโนบุ อาซาโน
morte cucina (ครัวสาว) อำนวยการผลิตโดย 185 Films ร่วมด้วย Little River Entertainment จากสหรัฐอเมริกา, Sour Bangkok, Zalekta, Songsound Production, Tsixtysix, The Binocular Man Films ร่วมควบคุมการผลิตโดย 3 ประเทศ ได้แก่ Gorylah Pictures ประเทศสิงคโปร์, Volos Films ประเทศไต้หวัน, Deal Productions ประเทศลักเซมเบิร์ก โดยได้รับสนับสนุนจาก งบประมาณสำหรับสร้างภาพยนตร์เพื่อส่งเสริมซอฟต์พาวเวอร์ไทย ประจำปีงบประมาณ พ.ศ. 2567 โดย กระทรวงวัฒนธรรม และ เงินอุดหนุนโครงการพัฒนาการสร้างสรรค์งานศิลปะร่วมสมัยเพื่อสร้างคุณค่าทางสังคม ประจำปีงบประมาณ พ.ศ. 2568 โดย สำนักงานศิลปวัฒนธรรมร่วมสมัย กระทรวงวัฒนธรรม ประเทศไทย, Film Fund Luxembourg ประเทศลักเซมเบิร์ก, Singapore Film Commission – Infocomm Media Development Authority – IMDA ประเทศสิงคโปร์ และ Taiwan Creative Content Agency – TAICCA !

HOLA ! “morte cucina” is going to Spain! 🥩🔪
morte cucina, the latest feature film by Pen-ek Ratanaruang, has been selected for its World Premiere at the 73rd San Sebastián International Film Festival in Spain this coming September!
morte cucina is a thriller-drama telling the story of Sao, a talented cook, accidentally meets the man who took advantage of her in the past. She sets her revenge plan in motion using her cooking skill to achieve a rather unexpected result…
This film marks the reunion of Pen-ek Ratanaruang with the world-class cinematographer Christopher Doyle. The cast includes Bella Boonsang, Kris Srepoomseth, Nopachai Jayanama, and guest starring Tadanobu Asano.
morte cucina is produced by 185 Films, together with Little River Entertainment, Sour Bangkok, Zalekta, Songsound Production, Tsixtysix, and The Binocular Man Films, in co-production with three international partners: Gorylah Pictures (Singapore), Volos Films (Taiwan), and Deal Productions (Luxembourg).
This project has been supported by Soft Power Fund 2024 from Ministry of Culture, as well as 2025 funding from Office of Contemporary Art & Culture (OCAC), Ministry of Culture (Thailand), Film Fund Luxembourg (Luxembourg), Singapore Film Commission – Infocomm Media Development Authority – IMDA (Singapore), and Taiwan Creative Content Agency – TAICCA (Taiwan).
