Vice President-elect Sara Duterte has committed to looking after the welfare of teachers and non-teachers at the Department of Education (DepEd) when he assumes office in July of this year. Duterte has voiced worry over the condition of certain instructors who are "seriously in debt" as a result of the organization's involvement with moneylenders.

Mayor Sara said that a non-teacher visited her office in Davao City and requested assistance with a loan. She was upset to find that the instructor was only earning PHP1,000 per month because the majority of her pay went into his borrowed money.

Noong Mayo 31, 2022, nagdiwang ng ika-44 na kaarawan si Vice President-elect Sara Duterte. Bagamat ordinaryong araw para kay Inday Sara, dahil ipinukol niya ang buong araw sa pagtatrabaho, marami ang nakaalala sa kanyang kaarawan.

The Marcos makeover was so effective that, according to preliminary results, Baseco voters narrowly supported him as president against Isko Moreno, an actor-turned-politician who grew up in the poverty of a neighboring slum.

Sinabi ni DA Secretary William Dar na makikipagtulungan daw siya sa susunod na pamahalaan upang matiyak na imumungkahi ang 10-taong diskarte sa pagkain at mga inisyatibo or programa ng ahensya.

Sabi pa niya na magmumungkahi raw siya ng P2.5 trilyong National Agriculture and Fisheries Modernization and Industrialization Plan (NAFMIP) upang mapalakas ang produksyon ng agrikultura. Vice President-elect Sara Duterte is preparing for her upcoming inauguration as the 15th Vice-President of the Republic of the Philippines. According to her, President-elect Bongbong Marcos and the whole team have decided that she will be the successor as Secretary of the Department of Education.

She said, “Tututok ako sa paghubog ng mga mag-aaral upang maging bihasa at matanto nila ang kanilang potensyal bilang indibidwal.” (I would work on producing skilled learners with the mindset to realize their full potential as individuals.)
