KALW Presents is thrilled to announce Thandiswa Mazwai, as part of the Presidio Theatre’s 2025 spring season! Making her San Francisco debut, is one of the most influential South African artists. Her music includes traditional Xhosa music, mbaqanga, funk, jazz, and reggae. Sankofa, her latest release, combines archival Xhosa samples, jazz, and West African music and includes songs produced by Meshell Ndegeocello and Nduduzo Makhathini.
