P15 – 1’40.666
It was a difficult qualifying today. My feeling had been good since yesterday in Spielberg and overall we’ve been working well all weekend, except for qualifying. The pace is there and I feel really good with the bike, but unfortunately I couldn’t put a proper lap together in Q2, and I wasn’t able to manage the group situation.
Still, the positive is that I have a good feeling with the bike, which gives me confidence for tomorrow. We just need to make a few small adjustments to be ready for the race, and then let’s see what we can do.

“Overall, it was a positive first day, but I’m a bit disappointed with the crash. The feeling with the bike is really good, and I believe we can be very competitive this weekend. Without that crash, the afternoon result could have been stronger.
The important thing is that we have good pace and I feel confident. The team is working very hard, and now we need to focus on improving for tomorrow. We will analyze the areas where we can gain time, and I will give my best in qualifying to secure a strong grid position for Sunday’s race”.

"This weekend we are in Austria, where last year I had quite a good weekend. Track conditions will be different this time, but I believe we can improve even more compared to last year’s performance.
After the summer break, I trained a lot on the bike and worked on many aspects, so I feel ready for the next races. As always, we will give our best in every practice session and keep working hard. Let’s see what we can achieve this weekend".

“I am pleased with this morning's result. It was great to be on the podium in the 1000th race in WorldSBK history. I got off to a good start in Race 2, and the feeling seemed to be better. Unfortunately, on lap 6, I went a little wide and lost the front. It's a shame because we were very close to third place. We'll try again in France.”

“This was one of the toughest weekends of my career. The wet warm-up went well, so for the Superpole Race we chose intermediates, but in hindsight it wasn’t the right call. I crashed into a pretty big high side. We’re still not sure what caused it, but we think there was a damp patch. In Race 2, thanks to the incredible work of the team, we were able to get back on track. I started off cautiously, then found my rhythm and climbed up to tenth. This Top 10 result means a lot, considering everything that happened this weekend. Now we all need some rest and in a month we’ll be ready for Magny-Cours.”

"Finishing the day in seventh place really feels good. The morning started badly, in FP3, at the end of the session, I collided with another rider and crashed, hurting myself a bit all over. In Superpole I was on the second bike and needed time to adapt. Just as I was getting into the rhythm for a fast lap, a red flag came out and we had to settle for 17th.
In Race 1, I was involved in the crash at Turn 2. Thankfully the red flag came out and we were able to restart. I had a good pace and made a strong comeback, fighting with top riders like Vierge and Rea. I finished seventh, which is the best way to end a tough day. Huge thanks to the whole team for the amazing work throughout the day. We came out of it well, and now we’re fully focused on tomorrow, with two more important races ahead."
