Read that again. Because if you’re stressing over making every sentence perfect on draft one… you’re missing the point.

The first draft isn’t meant to be polished. It’s meant to be raw, messy, and real. It’s where you explore your characters, discover plot holes, and surprise yourself with twists you didn’t even plan.

So stop editing as you go. Stop second-guessing every word.

Just tell yourself the story.
You can shape it later.
But right now? Write for you.

Save this for the days when imposter syndrome creeps in.

What is a story arc, and why does it matter when you’re writing a book? 📖
