Talking Strange Hosted bt Aaron Sagers: A weekly paranormal, horror & true crime interview show.

Halloween has passed, but spooky season is never truly over. And I am inviting you to join me in Ireland this May 2026 — the best time of the year — for a unique adventure that separates tourists from travelers.

You've seen my recent articles (on CNN, Travel + Leisure, etc) talking about my explorations in the strange and unusual — discussing folklore and the paranormal, and the joys of immersing oneself in different regions to walk away with a memorable, authentic experience.

And now I'd like you to experience it with me on an intimate slow-travel excursion (limited to 20 explorers) where we'll spend 11 days getting a feel for all things grand, ghostly, and gothic across Ireland, but without jumping between hotels every night.

What makes this even better is that we're doing it in May, when the Emerald Isle is at its most dazzling.

Check out Ireland Unseen, and the trailer for the adventure below, and then come join me this May. We still have room for a couple more travelers who wish to build unique memories rather than just collect photos on the side of the road.

What is it like to stay overnight in the "Most Haunted Airbnb in New Orleans?" Find out and listen to my episode talking to the lady of the manor.

It was around 1 a.m. that I heard the voice: “Please, please, please,” uttered in a mournful sound, sending chills both up and down my spine. Up until this moment, the massive home had been dead silent, and in the days leading up to Halloween, I was taking in a peaceful night on the front […]

Want to read some spooky stories AND why people are dedicated to paranormal tourism? I got you. As you know, I talk about travel, and my mission with travel, quite a bit. So I invite you to check out my piece for about spooky travels.

Please read and share across socials.

Paranormal tourists are not content with taking a two-hour ghost tour when they visit a city, but instead plan entire vacations, spending not-insignificant amounts of money, for a chance to encounter the unexplained.

Currently in for the paranormal adventure of Com-Con, and as it happens, I was in the haunted old Washoe Club last night. I found myself looking at an antique painting/advertisement for whisky while chatting with my amigo Richard Estep. There was just something about this ad that was unsettling to me. And it called to mind the brilliant tale "The Yellow Wallpaper." That, in turn, inspired me to dig up a little list of my favorite haunted house stories. Head to Patreon to check it out.

"Disaster Capitalism and Ghosts: Pursuing the paranormal for profit in the wake of tragedies"

Over on Patreon, I've posted a free column discussing some recent news involving Huff Paranormal and US Ghost Adventures.

Please check it out and share. Here's the opening:

How long does it take for the dead to rest in peace before we should reach out to their ghosts?

It is a question circulating throughout the paranormal community as of late, in the wake of Ozzy Osbourne’s death last week, followed by the recent news that a tour company is in the process of establishing a ghost walk in Lahaina, the Hawaiian community in Maui devastated by deadly wildfires less than two years ago.
