An absolute blast of a time at Slugger Stadium this past weekend watching and made our daughters night by letting her wear his coat of many colors. It’s amazing seeing the smile on her face and thinking about the miracle God performed on her. Just two short months ago she was Battling MOGAD and was paralyzed on the right side of her body, blind in one eye and couldn’t speak. Since then? She has gone back to playing softball, won two championship rings and met a new friend AJ Kirsch. MC of the greatest party around!

Posted • To all my Hot Rod historians out there-Everyone i know knows how grateful i am that our Funky T was spared, but i did lose a bunch of parts and some original items that came with the car, Bill’s helmet, trophy, his radiator overflow Coors can (replaced) and the most precious of all his homemade Car club plaque “RODMASTERS” made of mosaic tile on a piece of 1 inch plywood!! All the photos, magazines & most paperwork all accounted for-thankfully ❤️🙏🏾 Has anyone ever heard of this car club or have you ever seen one like this before? I’ll have it remade eventually, Bill Lund was from Borger, Texas, please any info on the club of any kind, it would have been in the late 1950s early 60s-please hit me up, thank you!!

There’s nothing I can say that hasn’t been said already about this legend. Every time I talked to Gene he maid me feel like he cared about what I had to say. The endless number of posts on social media today tells you all that you need to know about him. He was a caring dude that only wanted to help others. His desire to teach others what he perfected over so many years is something we should all inspire to do. Here’s to an amazing full life Gene. God bless
